Our History

 International Full Gospel Assembly (IFGA) was established in Kerala in the year 1995 as a Charitable Trust under the leadership of Rev.Dr GG Varghese as president and Mr. PM Thomas Channapetta as its Vice President. Prior to its registration, a well known leader Pr.TJ John was running a  mission work in Kerala and the work was supported by Dr.GG Varghese and some  believers of Bronx Full Gospel Assembly in New York during the previous years. The name IFGA was registered in USA in the year 1997. In India it started its humble beginning with the help of 10 pastors in Quilon, Trivandrum and Kanyakumari district. PastorTM John succeeded by Pr.KuriachenLukose served as General Secretaries and Mr. Victor Philip as its treasurer. Pr.Samraj served this organization as Tamil Nadu co-ordinator for a long time victoriously. IFGA spread its mission field to Wayanad, Tirunelveli, Nagarcovil and Marthandam areas. Pr.Benny Thomas joined as its Vice President of India, Pr.Joy Samuel  General Secretary and Pr. Thomas George as its treasurer. Evg.Skariah Thomas is serving as Vice President of USA. The Trust owns two Bible Colleges of its own, one in Wayanad and another in Marthandam. The death of two prominent leaders, Mr.PM Thomas (2008) and Pr.Samraj (2021) was a great loss to our organization. The trust was reregistered in 2021 incorporating 12A for its smooth functioning of the coming years. In 2021 Mr.Johnson P John joined this organization as General Coordinator of india. God has helped thus far and submitting its entire work for the glory of God.
